Pryor strung together two more sensational outings for Sacred Heart to garner NEC Player of the Week honors for the fourth time in as many weeks. The sophomore guard stuffed the stat sheet with 36 points, 17 rebounds, seven dimes and six steals to lead the Pios to a 1-1 record in non-conference action last week. After putting up 26 and 25 points in overtime setbacks to Fairfield and Bryant, Pryor made it three-straight 20-point outings after she dropped 20 in a thrilling win over NJIT on Wednesday. Scoring half of her points in a pivotal third quarter that saw the Pios outscore the Highlanders by a 19-10 margin in the eventual 57-48 win, the Baltimore native added six rebounds and four steals to her stat line in the victory. On Sunday, Pryor had another impressive performance, as she paced Sacred Heart with 16 points, 11 rebounds and six assists in a 60-50 road setback at Iona. The double-double was her second this season. Pryor enters the week ranked amongst the league’s leaders in several statistical categories. Leading the circuit with 17.5 points per game and 4.2 dimes per contest, she is second in steals per game (2.8) and is tied for fourth in rebounds per game (6.6).
