Dudley put up double figures twice last week for the Pioneers to extend her double-digit scoring streak to four consecutive games. In a 1-1 week that featured a win over NJIT on Wednesday and a hard-fought defeat at Iona on Sunday, the first-year forward averaged 11.5 points and 4.5 rebounds per game. During that stretch, Dudley shot 61.5 percent from the floor (8-of-13) and 77.8 percent from the free throw line (7-of-9). The Connecticut native contributed 12 points, including a pair of key free throws inside the final 32 seconds, to help lead Sacred Heart past the Highlanders by a 57-48 final on Wednesday. Later in the week, Dudley put up 11 points against the Gaels. Thanks to some extremely hot shooting, including a season-best 83.3 percent showing (5-of-6) from the field in Wednesday’s win, Dudley is averaging 12.3 points per game during her current rally. On the season, she is averaging 6.6 points and 4.3 boards in 11 appearances and three starts. She is the first Sacred Heart player to garner Rookie of the Week honors this season.
