Pryor delivered another outstanding week for Sacred Heart, and in the process, she added yet another bullet point to her already impressive career resumé after she put up a triple-double for the first time in her career. The sophomore sensation registered back-to-back 20-point outings in a pair of heartbreaking overtime defeats to crosstown rival Fairfield on Wednesday and Bryant on Saturday. During that stretch, Pryor averaged league-leading numbers with 25.5 points, 9.0 rebounds, 6.5 assists and 4.0 steals per contest. Most impressively, the 5-foot-3 guard turned in a 45.0 percent effort from the field (18-of-40) and a perfect 15-for-15 performance from the free throw line. Pryor, a Baltimore product, came one point shy of her career high after she scored 26 points in Wednesday’s 66-61 overtime setback to the Stags. She added seven boards, three dimes and five steals to that stat line. Three days later, she became the first NEC player this season and the second Pioneer in program history to tally a triple-double after she poured in 25 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists in the 74-71 overtime setback to the Bulldogs. Pryor, who has garnered NEC Player of the Week recognition in three of four weeks, leads the league in scoring (17.3 ppg) and assists per game (4.3). She also ranks third in steals per game (2.7), third in field goal percentage (.381), third in free throw percentage (.825), fifth in rebounds per game (6.2) and fifth in minutes per game (35.2).
