Pryor makes it back-to-back NEC Player of the Week honors after she poured on the offense — and once again did a little bit of everything else —for the Pioneers during their Thanksgiving trip to Puerto Rico. The 5-foot-3 standout guard averaged 15.3 points, 5.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 2.7 steals to lead Sacred Heart at the Discover Puerto Rico Classic. Pryor had an efficient Thanksgiving, as she went 3-for-4 from the field for 11 points in just 18 minutes to help the Pioneers coast past Puerto Rico-Mayaguez by a 73-42 final. The next day, the Baltimore product followed that performance with seven rebounds, five dimes and her first 20-point effort of the season against VCU. Pryor capped Sacred Heart’s excursion with 15 points, four rebounds, two assists and a season-high five steals in a hard-fought defeat to undefeated UCF on Saturday. She has scored in double figures in each of Sacred Heart’s seven games this season and in the process, she extended her rally to 40-straight games, which dates back to her collegiate debut against Hartford on Nov. 7, 2022. Pryor enters the week ranked second in the conference in scoring (15.0 ppg), 10th in rebounding (5.4 rpg), third in assists per game (3.7) and fourth in steals per game (2.3). This is the fourth NEC Player of the Week award of her career.
