Bonelli pushes his already league-leading NEC Rookie of the Week award haul to four. In the penultimate week of the 2023 regular season and Wagner’s conference finale, the Floridian recorded six catches for 66 yards to pace the Seahawks in an in-state battle with LIU. Bonelli’s lone touchdown catch — a four-yard strike before halftime — tied up the game at 14-all with 21 seconds left to play in the eventual 49-14 defeat. Averaging 56.1 yards per game to rank fourth among NEC receivers and first among the league’s rookies, Bonelli rose to the scene in conference play this season. Boosting his yardage to 69.4 per game on a league-high 31 receptions during that seven-game stretch, all four of his touchdown catches this season have come against NEC opponents.
