Week 10 Stats: 3 receptions, 46 receiving yards, 1 receiving TD, 8 rushes, 15 rushing yards, 2 rushing TDs
Glascoe did a little bit of everything to lead LIU its second consecutive victory — and its third NEC triumph in the past four games — by way of a thrilling come-from-behind win over defending league champion Saint Francis U on Saturday. A tight end from Massapequa Park, NY, Glascoe enjoyed a season-best three-touchdown day for the Sharks, who stormed back from a 28-17 fourth-quarter deficit to nip the Red Flash by a 29-28 final. Hauling in a 30-yard touchdown pass from freshman Chris Howell to cap a nine-play, 68-yard drive in the third quarter, the redshirt senior put a bow on LIU’s impressive comeback with a one-yard touchdown run with 97 seconds remaining. It marked the second time in as many weeks that the Sharks erased a double-digit deficit in the second half, as they previously clawed themselves out of a 23-10 hole at Central Connecticut and prevailed by a 24-23 final jn a nationally-televised game on CBS Sports Network. Glascoe also provided the heroics in the win over the Blue Devils, tossing the go-ahead touchdown pass —a 15-yarder to Leak Bryant — late in the third quarter. Finishing with a pair of rushing touchdowns while registering 46 receiving yards on three catches against the Red Flash, the jack-of-all-trades also showed off his throwing prowess once again, as his lone pass attempt was good for 31 yards. This is Glascoe’s first NEC Offensive Player of the Week honor this season. He is the second Shark to receive the honor, as junior wide receiver Davon Wells earned the distinction last month on October 2.
