Rahn registered a 2-0 record in the cage last week to help her win NEC Defensive Player of the Week honors for the second time in 2023. The junior goalkeeper turned away 10 shots while posting a .909 save percentage in the two victories. Her shutout against Merrimack on Friday was her fifth of the season. In Fairfield’s 2-1 win over Holy Cross on Sunday, Rahn denied six shots in the final quarter to keep the Stags’ one goal lead intact. The Orange, CT native has posted a .792 save percentage, 1,00 goals against average and five shutouts, all league-leading marks. Nationally, Rahn ranks among the top-10 goalkeepers in GAA (fifth), save percentage (seventh) and goalie win-loss percentage with .812 (ninth).
