Lynch’s right foot propelled the Australian-born kicker to NEC Special Teams Player of the Week honors for the second time this season. The sophomore handled all of the kicking and punting duties for the Sharks, who stormed back from a 20-10 deficit to defeat Central Connecticut in a Thursday night prime time matchup on CBS Sports Network. Lynch averaged 62.0 yards and 42.8 yards per boot, respectively. Registering 311 yards with one touchback on five kickoffs, Lynch pinned the Blue Devils inside their own 20-yard line in five of his eight punts. He also recorded one touchback and a game-best 63-yard boot to finish with 342 total punting yards. Lynch leads the NEC in yards per punt (42.0), punting yards (1,808) and touchbacks (6), while his 13 punts inside the 20 and nine 50+ yard punts are also good for first in the circuit.
