After LIU conceded a goal just 50 seconds later, Jaaskelainen asnwered back with a go-ahead goal in the third minute of the game to put his squad up 2-1. The Dolphins put up a fight netting a 2-2 equalizer in the tenth minute of the game, but Jaaskelainen saw it as an opportunity to shatter hope by completing his hat trick with another go-ahead goal in the 25th minute of the game with a one-time lefty finish from a ball served into the box. Ten minutes later, the Bolton, England native tallied his fourth and final goal becoming the only NEC player to net four goals in a game this season.
