Week 8 Stats: 7 receptions, 126 receiving yards
One week after he became the first Seahawk rookie in nearly two decades to surpass 100 receiving yards in a single game, Bonelli accomplished the feat again in Wagner’s 17-3 defeat to Central Connecticut. As a result, the Cooper City, FL native was tabbed the NEC Rookie of the Week for the second time in as many weeks, and a league-best third time this season. Bonelli accounted for more than half of his team’s receiving yards — and more than one-third of the Seahawks’ total offense — on Saturday after he racked up 126 yards on seven catches. Last week, the 5-foot-10 wide receiver caught for 104 yards. He leads the Seahawks in total receiving yards (391) and receiving yards per game (55.86) and is ranked fourth in the conference in both categories. In addition, Bonelli’s team-best 17.8 yards per reception are good for sixth in the NEC.
