Eicher put up monstrous numbers for a Saint Francis U squad that took first-place Sacred Heart down to the wire on Friday before rebounding for a convincing straight-set win at Central Connecticut on Saturday. A senior outside hitter, Eicher combined for 35 kills during that stretch to lead all NEC hitters with 4.38 per set. In addition, the Rostraver Township, PA native posted a .286 hitting percentage after attempting a league-high 77 swings for the Red Flash offense. Eicher got her week going with a bang, exploding for a double-double after notching 20 kills and 10 digs in a thrilling five-set defeat to the Pioneers. The following day, she registered a season-high three aces and compiled another double-double — her third in as many matches — after registering 15 kills and 14 digs. Eicher enters the week as the NEC’s leader in kill (254), total attacks (615) and kills per set (3.48). This is her third NEC Player of the Week award, which paces the circuit this season.
