Ephraim was active all over the offensive side of the field last week as she claimed her second NEC Rookie of the Week honors in 2023. The freshman forward had 10 shot opportunities to score in the Broncs’ two games last week, but one is all it took to make a difference. Ephraim scored the game-winning goal for Rider in its 2-1 NEC victory over Sacred Heart on Friday. The Dutch forward also registered five shots in a nailbiting 2-1 setback at Lehigh on Sunday. Ephraim now has five goals on the season, which is the second-most among all first year players in the league and is tied for the sixth-most among all NEC competitors.
