Ganoe averaged 5.00 digs over eight sets to dethrone Sacred Heart setter Gaby Zovko, who has swept all three NEC Rookie of the Week honors this season. A native of Bardstown, KY who landed at FDU by way of Charleston, Ganoe registered double digits in digs in all three of FDU’s matches last week. The sophomore libero got her week going with a 13-dig effort at Iona, a three-set defeat on Tuesday. Posting 10 digs in just one set against Dartmouth on Friday, Ganoe put together her finest outing in a Knights uniform to date against Fordham on Saturday. In that match, she registered season bests in digs and assists with 17 and eight, respectively. Ganoe is the first FDU player to take home a weekly award from the NEC this season.
