King is crowned the NEC Player of the Week for the second-straight week after another highlight performance in net in a 1-0 triumph over Lafayette. Last season's NEC Goalkeeper of the Year recorded five saves to secure his third-straight shutout and fourth overall of the season. On Tuesday, in the 69th minute of the game, King denied the Leopards from the penalty spot which sparked offensive momentum for FDU leading to Eric Dlabal's 74th minute game-winner. The graduate goalkeeper is currently ranked fifth in the nation with a save percentage of 0.889 and third in the nation with four shutouts. In the NEC, King continues to lead in three goalkeeping categories: goals against average (0.667), save percentage (0.889), and shutouts (four). King and the Knights are now 3-1-2 in non-conference play and lead the league with the fewest goals conceded (4), most saves (32), and best goals against average (0.667).
