Rogers racked up 52 digs and reached a key career milestone in the process last week at the Yale Invitational. The graduate libero averaged 4.73 digs per set and contributed 0.45 service aces per set to a 1-2 weekend for the Pioneers that was capped off by the team’s first win of the season against URI. Rogers, who has registered double digits in digs in six of eight matches this season including each of her past four appearances, recorded the 1,000th of her career against UConn on Thursday. After registering 19 in a four-set defeat to Yale on Friday, the Ridgewood, NJ native added 20 more to her count to propel Sacred Heart past the Rams, 3-1, on Saturday. Rogers currently ranks second in the circuit with 4.54 digs per set. This is her first weekly award of the 2023 campaign.
