Croce unleashed a throw in the hammer that was more than four meters better than the next closest competitor to take first place at the Yale Springtime Invite. The graduate student recorded a distance of 57.57m, which ranks second in the NEC behind his conference-leading throw of 59.35m. That standard was set last month at the Merrimack Alumni Classic. Croce takes home the NEC Field Athlete of the Week award for the second time this season.
