Yawn got the nod in the NEC series finale on Saturday against Delaware State in a 5-1 victory to pick up his fifth win from the mound. The junior righty tossed a complete game allowing four hits, one run, no walks and fanned a career-high 11 batters for a 0.444 WHIP. Yawn retired the game's first 13 batters to produce the longest outing by an LIU pitcher since Alec Huertas's complete game and triumph over Mount St. Mary's on May 7th, 2021.
