Colver found the back of the net a game-best four times on Saturday to lead Wagner to a 17-9 victory at Saint Francis U. With the regular-season finale victory, the Seahawks locked up the No. 2 seed in the upcoming NEC Championship. In addition to collecting her third hat trick of the season, Colver, a native of Allen, TX, added three ground balls. The sophomore’s first goal with 3:51 left in the second quarter sparked a 3-0 run that broke open a 4-4 draw and gave the Seahawks a lead they would not relinquish. Colver also contributed three straight scores to Wagner’s game-ending 4-1 run that sealed the win. This is the attacker’s first NEC Player of the Week honor.
