A native of East Moriches, NY, Burke caused a career-high six turnovers to pace Saint Francis U’s defense in a defeat to Wagner on Saturday. In addition, the rookie defender also enjoyed a personal-best effort in ground balls after she collected seven. It marked the seventh time this season — and the sixth straight game — that Burke registered multiple caused turnovers, while her seven ground ball effort marked the second time this season that she picked up five-or-more in a game. With 26 caused turnovers and 36 ground balls this season, Burke leads the Red Flash and is ranked third and seventh in the circuit, respectively. This is her second weekly award from the NEC, as she was previously named the league's Defensive Player of the Week on April 10.
