McHenry earns NEC Player of the Week honors for a league-best fourth time this season. The graduate student produced yet another potent offensive performance on Wednesday against St. Bonaventure to lead the Red Flash to their sixth straight victory and program-record 10th triumph of the season. Following up last week’s nine-goal effort against Central Connecticut with six goals against the Bonnies, McHenry tacked on an assist to finish the contest with seven points. In addition, the Branford, CT native got it done in all aspects of the game, adding two caused turnovers, three ground balls and six draw controls. On the season, McHenry, who rides a six-game hat trick streak into the 2023 regular season finale, leads the circuit in total goals (49) and goals per game (3.50), while her 4.64 points per game are good for second in the conference.
