In her first time running the 5000m this season, Morabito propelled herself to the top of the NEC performance list after a strong showing at the Larry Ellis Invitational. The junior crossed the tape in 16:48.51 to shave more than one full minute off of the previous conference-best mark. In addition, Morabito, a native of New Milford, CT, placed seventh overall at the event out of a field of 19 runners. This is her first NEC Track Athlete of the Week award this season.
