Marchese had a spectacular showing in the 400m hurdles at the Bison Outdoor Classic to take home NEC Track Athlete of the Week honors for the first time this season. The Staten Island product torched the track and in the process, he turned in the 60th fastest time in the nation in the event this season. Entering the week already owning the conference’s top 400m hurdles time (54.03), Marchese shaved more than one second off of that mark and placed second overall with a new personal-best of 52.13. In addition, the junior broke Wagner’s program record.
