A native of Old Bridge, NJ, Durden registered a pair of personal-best performances to lead Wagner in the throws at the Larry Ellis Invitational. Placing 10th in the discus with a throw of 44.68m, the graduate student earned silver in the shot put after recording a hurl of 17.83m. Improving on his previous season-best mark in the shot put by 1.32m, Durden now ranks first in the conference — and 96th in the nation — in the event after his performance last weekend. This is his first NEC Field Athlete of the Week award this season.
