Sina de la Fuente landed the first top finish of his outdoor collegiate career with a strong showing in the javelin at the Mets Outdoor Championship this past weekend. The Spaniard out-threw the competition by more than seven meters after reaching 63.05m on his fourth attempt. That mark is good for second on the NEC performance list. This is Sina’s first-ever NEC Rookie of the Week award.
