Trainauskas ran his win streak to seven and improved to 24-4 this season in singles play with two more #1 flight victories as FDU downed LIU and Hofstra last week to close out the regular season. The back-to-back NEC Player of the Week honoree posted a 6-1, 6-1 triumph over LIU's Philip Hilble, then rallied from a set down to post a 3-6, 6-3, 6-4 win against Hofstra's Bo Cautaerts. Trainauskas is now 5-0 versus NEC rivals and 10-2 at the top flight on the year. The sophomore from Vilnius, Lithuania also teamed with Thomas Linley for a pair of doubles victories. The Knights have secured the #2 seed in this week's NEC Championship.
