Bomba vaulted to her way to her second straight NEC Field Athlete of the Week award after she enjoyed a solid day at the Black and Gold Invitational. The senior turned in a new meet record and took first place in the pole vault after clearing 3.80m, which is the second-best mark in the NEC behind her league-leading vault of 3.85m, set earlier this season. A native of Hudson, NH, Bomba made it two top-10 finishes on the weekend with a seventh-place showing in the long jump. Her mark of 5.34m is currently tied for fifth in the loop.
