Heath posted a 1.27 ERA in a pair of starts last week. A product of Coventry, RI, she allowed just two earned runs and scattered seven hits in 11.0 innings to help Sacred Heart go 3-2 last week in a stretch that included a three-game sweep of NEC opponent Stonehill. Heath’s week was highlighted by a solid performance against the Skyhawks that saw her post a two-hit shutout in a 10-0 win on Saturday. This is her first-ever NEC Rookie of the Week honor.
