Givens played a big part in Saint Francis U’s 19-18 win over Stonehill on Saturday. The rookie helped the Red Flash string together consecutive victories in NEC play after she racked up six points against the Skyhawks behind a career-best five-goal outing. Scoring twice in the first quarter to help Saint Francis U jump out to a 10-2 lead before adding back-to-back scores in the third quarter, Givens extended her team’s lead to 19-16 and secured the one-goal victory with her final goal with 1:13 left in the fourth. A native of Elverson, PA, she has four hat tricks on the season to rank third on the team in goals (18).
