Huertas pitched eight scoreless innings on Friday in LIU's NEC series matchup against Stonehill. The senior right-handed pitcher recorded the longest scoreless outing by an LIU started since Huertas tossed a nine inning shutout vs Mount St. Mary's in May, 2021. The Bethlehem, PA native allowed just two hits and two walks while fanning six batters in their 8-0 triumph.
