Werlau delivered another solid offensive performance to lead Sacred Heart to a 1-0 start in conference play and garner NEC Player of the Week honors for the second time this season. The attacker found the back of the net five times and tacked on an assist to match a game high in scoring with six points. A native of Brewster, NY, Werlau has been on a tear this season. Putting up multiple goals in each of her nine appearances, she has amassed four straight hat tricks to push her season total to six. Werlau is the NEC’s top scorer with 33 goals and 3.67 scores per contest. Her 4.11 points per game are good for second in the circuit.
