Turning in a solid performance at the Northeast Roundup this past weekend, Spina snags NEC Bowler of the Week honors for the third time this season. The senior put up sensational numbers in the regular-season finale. Averaging 20.54 pins per frame to lead all NEC competitors this week, Spina was even more impressive in traditional play with a 21.54 frame average. In addition, the East Islip, NY native had a hot hand, striking on 55 of 102 attempts for a sizzling .539 strike percentage. She averaged 9.05 pins per first-ball en route to filling frames at a .843 rate. Claiming a share of the NEC regular season crown last month, Spina and the Knights enter the NEC Championship as the No. 1 seed this weekend.
