McHenry got it done on both ends of the field for Saint Francis U, which is off to the best start in program history after winning four of its first five contests. Securing six draw controls, the graduate student added five ground balls and a pair of caused turnovers. On the offensive side of the field, McHenry dished out three assists within the game’s first 17 minutes to help Saint Francis U jump out to an early 4-2 lead and boost her career total to 63, which ranks second on Saint Francis U’s all-time list. With her three-assist effort, the Branford, CT native has registered at least one point in each of her last 23 matches. In addition, she leads the Red Flash with 15 points and is fourth in the NEC with 3.00 points per game. This is McHenry’s second weekly award from the NEC this season, as she was previously named the league’s Player of the Week on Feb. 27. With her Defensive Player of the Week nod, the Red Flash have claimed each of the past two honors after Elyssa Enrique earned the award on March 6.
