Enrique stood tall between the pipes this past week, and in the process, she helped lead Saint Francis U to a 2-0 record during that stretch. The graduate student combined for 24 saves and closed out the week with a 6.47 GAA and a .667 save percentage. A native of North Canton, OH, Enrique was lockdown in 60 minutes of work against Akron on Friday. Making stops on nine of the 17 shots she faced, she helped lead the Red Flash to a 5-4 victory in what proved to be a defensive battle between the two teams. Enrique had another stellar outing on Sunday, as she came away with 15 saves in 51+ minutes in Saint Francis U’s 16-12 victory over Delaware State. This is her first NEC Defensive Player of the Week honor this season.
