Pryor got it done in nearly every facet of the game on Thursday to lead Sacred Heart to a 66-58 win over Wagner. The first-year guard put an exclamation point on what has been one of the most decorated regular seasons by an NEC rookie — or player — in recent history after delivering 17 points, eight rebounds, six assists and four steals. Using her tenacity on defense to produce highlight-reel worthy buckets, Pryor, who continues to lead the nation in steals, has also displayed a knack for finding the open player, as her six-assist outing marked the 10th time this season she delivered five or more dimes in a game. The Baltimore native closed out her debut season averaging 17.9 ppg, which leads the circuit and is good for second among NCAA Division I rookies. In addition, her scoring clip is the best by an NEC freshman since Jessica Kovatch averaged 20.9 ppg as a frosh for Saint Francis U in 2015-16. Claiming her 13th NEC Rookie of the Week award of the season, Pryor tied Kovatch for the conference record. She has hauled in a total of 15 weekly awards from the conference, also earning a pair of NEC Player of the Week accolades on Dec. 12 and Jan. 18.
