Narvaiz makes it three straight NEC Rookie of the Week honors for LIU with her first career honor. The second baseman enjoyed a successful weekend at the plate at the Winthrop Garnet & Gold Tournament, posting a .611 slugging percentage after launching a pair of two-run homers. Tacking on two runs after going yard in the top of the seventh in a 6-1 win over North Carolina Central on Saturday, Narvaiz gave the Sharks a 3-1 advantage in an eventual 8-5 win over Harvard on Sunday with a two-run shot to left field in the top of the third frame. The Albuquerque, NM native was also solid on the base paths, going 2-for-2.
