Wilson continues to pour it on in the latter part of the NEC slate. The forward tacked on two more double-figure scoring games — including her eighth 20+ point outing of the season — to extend her rally to 10 contests and help FDU to a 2-0 record last week. With those victories, the Knights clinched the league’s regular season crown and locked up the top seed in the upcoming NEC Tournament for the second time in as many years. Wilson put together another solid all-around performance on Thursday to help the Knights coast to a 63-39 home win against Saint Francis U. Dishing out four assists while leading all scorers with 17 points, the Freeport NY native posted a double-double for the third time in as many outings after grabbing a game-high 11 boards. She had another big outing in a 67-48 road win at St. Francis Brooklyn, coming just shy of her eighth double-double after delivering 20 points and nine boards in 28 minutes on Saturday. Wilson averaged a double-double on the week with 18.5 points and 10.0 rebounds in just 30.0 minutes per game. She enters the final game of the regular season ranked third in the circuit in scoring (16.8 ppg), fourth in rebounding (7.0 rpg), seventh in free-throw percentage (.750) and 10th in field goal percentage (.427). In her past 10 games, Wilson has been on a tear, putting up 20+ points on four occasions while averaging 19.7 ppg and 8.6 rpg. This is her fifth NEC Player of the Week award this season.
