Pryor strung together back-to-back 20+ point performances to lead Sacred Heart to a 1-1 record last week. The Baltimore native was key in the Pios’ win over FDU on Thursday, delivering 20 points while adding six rebounds, four steals and a pair of assists. With the victory, Sacred Heart secured the regular-season sweep of the first-place Knights. Pryor was even more impressive on Saturday against Merrimack, dropping 25 points while coming one rebound shy of a double-double. In addition, Pryor dished out seven assists, marking the ninth time this season she records five-or-more dimes in a game, in the defeat to the Warriors. The rookie is the only player in the NEC to put up double figures in every game this season, while her 12 20+ point games are the most in the circuit as well. With this week’s award, Pryor has earned NEC Rookie of the Week distinction 12 times this season and needs just one more to match the league record of 13.
