Aiken stuck a pair of first-place performances at the Big Apple Invite this past weekend. The sophomore moved past Saint Francis U’s Ardonntrell Williams and slid into second in the conference rankings in the long jump after hitting an IC4A-qualifying and personal-best distance of 7.21m. Aiken, a Brooklyn native, went on to post another PR in the triple jump after combining for a distance of 15.06m, which is good for third in the circuit this season. This is Aiken’s first NEC Field Athlete of the Week award.
