Pryor did not disappoint in Sacred Heart’s lone game last week. The rookie came two steals shy of pulling off a rare point-rebound-steal triple-double against Saint Francis U on Thursday. She compiled 17 points, 12 rebounds and eight steals to compile her third career double-double in the commanding 68-34 victory. Just one other player in NCAA Division I has put together a similar stat line in a game this year, as Morehead State’s Veronica Charles registered 16 points, 12 boards and eight thefts against Spalding on Nov. 22. The nation’s leader in steals at 4.3 per contest, Pryor’s eight-steal performance ranks eighth on the NCAA Division I individual game high chart. The Baltimore native is the only player in the NEC to net double figures in each of her 23 appearances this season, and as a result, she continues to lead the circuit in scoring with 17.9 ppg. Pryor, who now has 11 NEC Rookie of the Week nods, needs just two more to tie NEC record-holder Jess Kovatch, who collected 13 honors for Saint Francis U in 2015-16.
