Myers is recognized by the NEC for the second time this season after she averaged 19.5 points on 56.5 percent shooting from the field (13-of-23), which included a sizzling 75.0 percent clip from behind the arc (6-of-8). The guard got her week going with a bang, delivering 30 points — the most by an NEC rookie in a game this season — behind an impressive 6-of-7 performance from long range on Thursday to help lead the Terriers to a win against Wagner. Myers teamed up with fellow backcourt member Alyssa Fisher, who also scored 30, to become the first tandem to score at least 30 points apiece in an NEC women’s basketball game since March 9, 2014, when Saint Francis U teammates Alli Williams and Alexa Hayward netted 47 and 43, respectively, against Sacred Heart. The Columbia, SC native went on to have another solid performance against Stonehill, registering nine points, four rebounds and a pair of assists in the defeat on Saturday. With 12 double-figure scoring games this season, Myers is second among Terriers and 12th in the NEC in scoring with 12.9 ppg. She has upped that average to 13.6 ppg in conference play.
