Couture had a career day at the NEICAA Indoor Championships. In addition to turning in a pair of top-four finishes and two personal-best performances in the 200m and the 400m (48.10), the junior also moved up the NEC performance list in the 200m after running the second-fastest time in the conference this season in the preliminaries (21.61). A native of Sherrill, NY, Couture entered the week ranked second in the 400m, but shaved three-tenths of a second off of that time over the weekend. This is his second NEC Track Athlete of the Week honor, as he shared the award with Wagner’s Luke Cunningham on Dec. 13.
