Keane opened the second half of the season by spearheading Saint Francis U to a fourth-place finish at the Red Flash Classic this past weekend. The East Brunswick, NJ native posted a 182.0 average in five traditional matches to finish in ninth place. Averaging 17.52 pins per frame on the weekend, Keane filled frames at a 79.3 percent rate. Knocking down 8.58 pins per first-ball shot, the rookie proceeded to clean up a 83.0 percent of her makable spares. Keane highlighted her weekend by rolling a 198 in the final traditional match against Pitt at Greensburg, a 969-665 win that helped the Red Flash take fourth with an 8-2 record. This is Keane’s league-leading sixth NEC Rookie of the Week honor.
