Murphy beat out the previous NEC-best triple jump mark by 0.01m at the Penn State National Open. The senior’s jump of 11.93m was good for sixth place overall. This is the second time this season that Murphy takes home a weekly award, as she previously garnered the honor after the first week of the season on Dec. 6.
