Bomba continues to dominate in the pole vault this season. The Hudson, NH native took first place at the URI Invitational after clearing a height of 3.80m, which is 0.01m shy of her NEC-best mark of 3.81m, set at the Beacon Invitational on Dec. 10. Bomba has been the top finisher in the pole vault in each of the three meets she has competed in this season (Beacon Invitational, Brandeis Reggie Poyau Memorial Invitational, URI Invitational). With this week’s honor, the senior is now a two-time NEC Field Athlete of the Week award winner.
