Behind another blazing effort in the 60m hurdles, Williams garners NEC Track Athlete of the Week honors for the second time in as many weeks. Coming off a first-place showing last week at the Nittany Lion Challenge after breaking Saint Francis U’s program record with an NEC-best time of 7.84, the junior matched that speedy time this past weekend at the Gulden Invitational to claim his second straight win in the event. The native of Voorhees, NJ enters the week ranked 28th in NCAA Division I in the event. In addition to his impressive performance in the hurdles, Williams also ran a leg of the Red Flash’s 4x400m relay team that placed third overall with a converted time of 3:24.94.
