Pryor’s second NEC Player of the Week honor comes after the rookie put up astounding numbers in a 2-0 week for Sacred Heart. The Baltimore native literally stuffed the stat sheet with 19.5 points, 6.5 assists, 5.5 rebounds and 5.0 steals in 22.5 minutes per game. Most impressively, Pryor converted on 14-of-23 shots for a sizzling 60.9 percent clip from the field during that stretch. She was a key contributor in the Pios’ win against St. Francis Brooklyn on Saturday, dishing out a career-high eight assists while converting on 5-of-7 from the field and draining 6-of-8 free-throw attempts to finish with 17 points. Pryor went on to register 22 points, six rebounds and five assists in Monday’s win at Saint Francis U. In each of her two contests, the nation’s leader in steals came away with five thefts to boost her total to 69 on the season. The guard has scored in double figures in each of her 16 appearances, a feat that has not been accomplished by any NEC player this season, while her seven 20-point performances are a league-best.
