Rafter takes home NEC Track Athlete of the Week honors for the second time this season after she struck gold in the mile run at the Wagner Invitational. The Danielson, CT native topped the previous NEC-best time by more than 13 seconds after clocking in at 4:49.26, which is the 13th-fastest time in the nation this season. In addition, Rafter’s performance met the ECAC qualifying standards. The distance extraordinaire currently owns the NEC’s top times in the mile and the 5,000m races.
