Hurd took runner-up honors in the high jump at the Wagner Invitational in emphatic fashion. The sophomore cleared a height of 1.65m and is now tied with Saint Francis U’s Tierney Beebout for first in the loop in the event. In addition, the Nutmeg State native met the ECAC qualifying standards with her leap. This is Hurd’s first NEC Field Athlete of the Week award.
