Bramanti continued her torrid scoring spree in Stonehill’s non-conference finale and inaugural NEC game, averaging 22.0 points while adding 5.5 assists, 3.0 steals and 3.0 rebounds in a 2-0 week. The senior put up those offensive numbers in efficient fashion, combining to shoot 51.9 percent from the field (14-of-27), 50.0 percent from three-point range (4-of-8) and 80.0 percent from the free-throw line (12-of-15). Bramanti got her week going with a bang in the Skyhawks’ 82-71 win against Queens (NY) on Thursday, registering 25 points, six steals and five assists in 36 minutes. Four days later, the Chelmsford, MA native played a key part in leading Stonehill to its first-ever conference victory at CCSU on Monday. Scoring all 19 of her points in the first half on 7-of-10 shooting to help Stonehill build a 43-32 advantage at the break, Bramanti finished 7-for-12 in the contest and added a season-high six assists. Since averaging 7.8 points in the first six games of 2022-23, the guard has gone off in her past eight outings, more than doubling that mark by pouring in 19.6 points per game in that stretch. She is ranked fifth in the loop in scoring with 14.6 points per game, while her 3.1 dimes per contest are good for third. This is Bramanti’s second NEC Player of the Week honor.
