Moore continues to stamp his name in Red Flash hoops lore just 15 games into his young career. In winning NEC Rookie of the Week honors for the third week running and fifth time on the year, he averaged 17.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 1.0 steals, while hitting at a 58.8 percent clip from the field and 62.5 percent mark from distance. After scoring a game-high 20 points in an 80-72 win over CCSU on Thursday, Moore had a memorable outing two days later that helped the Red Flash to its first 2-0 start in NEC play since the 2015-16 campaign. He took the game over late, scoring 15 of SFU’s final 19 points in the contest, as the Flash overcame a seven-point deficit in the final four minutes to secure a 73-72 win. Moore ranks first among conference freshmen in scoring (12.8), free throw percentage (.800), made three-pointers (1.7) and A/TO ratio (1.96), and is second in assists (3.7).
